{"id":8559,"date":"2020-08-10T17:04:16","date_gmt":"2020-08-10T17:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acendas.com\/?p=8559"},"modified":"2022-11-10T16:26:02","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T16:26:02","slug":"acendas-travel-announces-staff-promotions-changes-in-operations-processes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acendas.com\/corporate\/acendas-travel-announces-staff-promotions-changes-in-operations-processes\/","title":{"rendered":"Acendas Travel Announces Staff Promotions, Changes in Operations, Processes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Acendas Travel President<strong> Brent Blake<\/strong> has announced a restructuring of its corporate travel division that will create efficiencies and fill gaps that were identified as result of the Coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The business slowdown created by the pandemic brought to the surface some operational and process issues that were not present during what we called the &#8216;old normal,'&#8221; Blake said. &#8220;The changes will not only benefit Acendas Travel, but will be advantageous for our business partners.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The changes include the following promotions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ken Augustine<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has been promoted to <\/span>Vice President of Travel Technology <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and will continue to oversee the Tech Team for programming projects, on-board new technology services and seek to automate various processes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Terri Barton<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">has been elevated to the position of <\/span>Vice President, Corporate Travel and <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">will provide strategic direction and facilitate Account Management, Agent Operations and a new department called Online Live Support.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Corey Ringh<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has been promoted to Director of Account Management.
