Or picture themselves sitting at a streetside cafe in Paris, sipping wine and watching the beautiful people stroll by?<\/p>\n<p>They say that anticipation is half of the fun when looking forward to a vacation, so why miss out on a good time?<\/p>\n<p>In part two of our feature about &#8220;National Plan a Vacation Day,&#8221; we return to our coworkers here at Acendas Travel and ask more about their vacation dreams.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3420\" src=\"https:\/\/acendasvacations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/201702010320528e45d7a4239de625acfb2c11ae3ccfff.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Maldives over-water resort<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>The Maldives<\/h2>\n<p>Corporate Account Manager Kelsey Pulley, when asked where she would go if she suddenly found she had 8-10 days of unused vacation time, immediately responded with &#8220;the Maldives!&#8221; Understanding that it would take a minimum of 24 hours of flight time each way, she would still choose to visit these unique tropical islands in the Indian Ocean, known for their luxurious over-water resorts, secluded beaches and gourmet food. &#8220;My cousin, who has been everywhere in the world, just honeymooned in the Maldives and she fell absolutely in love with the islands,&#8221; Kelsey gushed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3419\" src=\"https:\/\/acendasvacations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/20170201032410b6a17d5d9b08338219a8917d0fc2431e.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Thailand<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Thailand<\/h2>\n<p>Nick Tuttle, also an Account Manager with Acendas, has been yearning to visit Thailand. &#8220;It&#8217;s been on my bucket list forever,&#8221; said Nick. &#8220;I really want to experience both the big city of Bangkok and the surrounding exotic countryside and I&#8217;d also like to get to know the people and eat some great Thai food.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3421\" src=\"https:\/\/acendasvacations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/201702010327166e52c804f743490afcf401644a06a4bc.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Ashford Castle, Ireland<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Ireland<\/h2>\n<p>Ireland, the Emerald Isle, is at the top of Stephanie Clifton&#8217;s list. She is Director of Meetings and Incentives at Acendas and has working relationships with several Irish manor and castle hotels in Ireland. &#8220;I&#8217;d start in Dublin, hire a driver and then go visit each of these charming hotels throughout the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3422\" src=\"https:\/\/acendasvacations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2017020103390593753c80f6a32ce7922fe7723977d229.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Paradise Beach on beautiful island South Water Caye &#8211; Belize<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Belize<\/h2>\n<p>Martie Harter, receptionist with Acendas, did not have to think twice about her plans. Having formerly worked for Sporting KC, she is a huge soccer fan and dreams of going to Belize to watch a big game, and of course, get in some quality beach time as well.<\/p>\n<p>As for myself, I&#8217;ve been lucky to have already seen much of the world. But when I start dreaming of an 8-10 day vacation in my future, I picture myself in a small beachside village along the Pacific coast of Mexico. Nothing fancy.
