Kathy Sudeikis, Vice President of Corporate Relations for Acendas Travel, has been selected by Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of the World’s Top Travel Agents for 2016.<\/p>\n
The magazine identified 137 agents as “”A-List” selections, recognizing them for their expertise for specific destinations or packages. They were selected because they are the ultimate in travel planners by taking trips to the next level. Said T+L editors: “voted among the 100 most powerful women in travel by Travel Agent magazine, Sudeikis and her team at Acendas are pros at organizing large family reunions.”<\/p>\n
Sudeikis has been with Acendas since 1993 and has been in the travel industry for 40-plus years. She served as president of the American Society of Travel Agents from 2004-06.<\/p>\n
“Kathy’s success starts and ends with her character and love of people,” Acendas Co-Owner Gary Davis said. “She is committed to providing her customers an enjoyable and memorable experience.”<\/p>\n
Sudeikis is heavily involved in the Kansas City Community, including her volunteering for Gilda’s Club, a Cancer Support Group. Sudeikis herself is a cancer survivor. Of course, she might best be known for her work in helping to organize “The Big Slick,” a charity event that features actors and comedians with Kansas City roots that helps to fund programs at Children’s Mercy Hospital. One of those stars is Sudeikis’s son Jason.<\/p>\n
