What to Expect in These Newly Renovated Ships
And the news gets even better. These four ships — the Regatta, Insignia, Natuica and Sirena — have been completely renovated or scheduled for one soon. The project, Oceania is calling “Re-Inspriation” will result in each of these ships being stripped down to their studs. The total cost for the renovations, including the 342 cabins on each ship, will be a total of $100 million.
“Every ounce of the re-inspired accommodations will be modernized, featuring custom-crafted furnishings, exotic stone and polished wood finishes, and designer accessories,” Oceania said. “We are maintaining the intimate surroundings and personal attention that our guests love, while at the same time, setting a new standard of style and elegance for small ship cruising.”
Examples of the additions include: USB ports in each of the staterooms, as well as a state-of-the-art television system with movies on demand in multiple languages. Every fixture and surface of the bathrooms will be new with “designer features, perfect lighting, lavish vanities, and chic glass shower enclosures.” The Penthouse, Vista, and Owner’s Suite bathrooms will have more space and be outfitted with Carrara marble, polished granite and sleek onyx.
The Insignia has been completed, with the Sirena in May, the Regatta in September 2019 and the Nautica in June 2020. Another aspect of the re-inspiration will include new menus and dining experiences on-board, additional ports visited, and enhanced onshore experiences.
