Global cost savings and cost avoidance should be a primary objective of any travel management program.  Strategic data capture and analysis provided through Acendas Travel’s reporting system are vital to that end.  Continuous monitoring and quarterly business reviews reveal key opportunities to drive additional savings, leverage your spend, achieve program compliance, and possibly capture rogue spending.  Acendas Travel’s reporting system also allows us to analyze overall ROR (Return on Relationship) percentage, total spend, industry benchmarking, contract compliance, KPI tracking, preferred supplier compliance, and potential areas to negotiate and/or consider alternate suppliers.

DecisionSource

To meet our client’s need for actionable data in a convenient, intuitive format, Acendas Travel, through BCD Travel’s resources, has developed the desktop reporting system, DecisionSource. The tool provides clients with access to an array of the standard reports necessary to manage a best-in-class travel program. It has the ability to address unique needs, such as individual traveler scorecards, arrival and departure for group meetings and credit card reconciliation.  DecisionSource facilitates the creation of sophisticated queries, customized reports, “what if” analytical scenarios and summary graphics, exportable in common formats. The following are key features of DecisionSource:

  • Executive Summary Overview – Available as standard reports, this high-level summary provides a quick snapshot of key travel program metrics.
  • DecisionSource Analytics – Interactive accurate, consolidated travel data, all transformed into actionable intelligence on-demand. Ensures Travel Managers can make quick powerful decisions to reduce costs and reach your programs savings/behavioral goals.
  • Return on Relationship Savings Analysis – One of the standard reports, it shows the economic benefit of a managed travel program. Our proprietary technology captures the savings from client’s privately negotiated rates as well as those generated by our programs and affiliations. Savings related to airline, hotel, car rental, exchanged ticket usage, and voided transactions are all documented in the quarterly Return on Relationship Report.
