Acendas Travel President Brent Blake has announced a restructuring of its corporate travel division that will create efficiencies and fill gaps that were identified as result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
“The business slowdown created by the pandemic brought to the surface some operational and process issues that were not present during what we called the ‘old normal,'” Blake said. “The changes will not only benefit Acendas Travel, but will be advantageous for our business partners.”
The changes include the following promotions:
- Ken Augustine has been promoted to Vice President of Travel Technology and will continue to oversee the Tech Team for programming projects, on-board new technology services and seek to automate various processes.
- Terri Barton has been elevated to the position of Vice President, Corporate Travel and will provide strategic direction and facilitate Account Management, Agent Operations and a new department called Online Live Support.
- Corey Ringh has been promoted to Director of Account Management. She will be responsible for implementing a new account management framework which allows for greater customization for clients.
- Katie Lyles has been promoted to Director of Revenue Management/Optimization and will be charged with enhancing current revenue streams and finding additional new ones.
